The Pullo Center Announces Four New Shows for The 2016-17 Season

The Pullo Center at Penn State York welcomes the comedy of Dave Coulier on September 22, 2016 , Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters on September 29, 2016, the holiday melodies of The Vienna Boys Choir – Christmas in Vienna on December 17, 2016, and the unique sounds of Recycled Percussion on March 31, 2017. Tickets for all four of these events will go on sale June 10 at 10:00 a.m. Members can order now. Dave Coulier is perhaps best known as “Joey” from the hit ABC television series, Full House, which aired for eight seasons and can now be seen on Nick at Nite. Highly regarded for his voice-over talent, Dave's additional credits include many Saturday morning cartoon favorites which include Scooby Doo, the re-syndicated version of The Jetson's, The Muppet Babies, and most recently on Cartoon Networks’ Robot Chicken, and the Bob and Doug animated series. Dave also co-stars in Fuller House, which began airing on Netflix in 2016.
“The Treehouse Guy” Pete Nelson is the star of Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters. Pete runs Nelson Treehouse and Supply, the company responsible for designing and building some of the world’s most incredible treehouses. He and his wife, Judy, currently own and operate Treehouse Point in Washington State, a retreat featuring a half dozen treehouses for guests to rent. With a reputation for limitless imagination and incomparable skills, Pete is widely known as the best treehouse builder in the world. Living by the motto “if you dream it, you can build it,” he constantly pushes his clients’ treehouse expectations to the max. With an arsenal of experience Pete continues to design and build treehouses the world has never seen before.
Since Justin Spencer formed Recycled Percussion in 1995, the band has been unstoppable. Their junk rock music became a national phenomenon week after week during their smash hit performances on America’s Got Talent in 2009. Playing over 4,000 shows and over 400 corporate events in over 15 countries, the group has also done guest appearances on Carson Daly, The Today Show, China’s Got Talent and the Latin Grammy Awards. After being featured on the cover of USA Today and being voted National Act of the Year a record-breaking six times, the band gained world-wide recognition.
The Vienna Boys Choir, the illustrious group of child musicians has been delighting music lovers across the globe for six centuries with their purity of tone, distinctive charm and popular repertoire. Christmas in Vienna showcases these gifted musicians with voices of unforgettable beauty in an extraordinary program featuring Austrian folk songs, classical masterpieces, popular songs and, of course, holiday favorites.
